Growing up I wasn’t the most active kid but as I got older I decided to be more involved in other activities and decided to join my High School’s Cross Country Team. It was then and there that I realized that I wanted to become more involved with sports in some shape or form. Through that, my interest for strength & condition and coaching grew larger, not only learning how to enhance my own athletic ability but also help others in the process. Since then my love for coaching continues and hope to learn as much as I can throughout my career.
As a kid I was very soft spoken, at times I’d be known as the quiet kid where my level of self-confidence was basically nothing. Through CrossFit I enjoyed the process of pushing the boundaries of what our body’s can do, and throughout my tenure in CrossFit my self-confidence has drastically grew, shaping into the person I am today.
When I first started CrossFit, it was the coaches who had helped me develop into the athlete and person I’am today, without their mentorship I would not be in this position today. That being said, I hope to provide the same influence the same way my coaches have done to me, I hope to make somebody’s day, help them get their first pull-up, guide them through their fitness journey in order to have an impact in their lives. CrossFit has definitely done a lot for my life and I hope to show others the same concept.
