What is your athletic background?
I don't have an athletic background except water skiing and snowboarding.
What was your workout routine prior to joining Spero?
I hadn't worked out prior to Spero.
What was your first experience with CrossFit?
I loved my first class but it was a little intimidating trying to learn all the moves.
When did you start CrossFit?
I started at CrossFit 4 months ago.
Why did you choose Spero?
I chose Spero because i used to walk by on my way to my rehab appointment and it looked like fun with the loud music and people all moving.
What keeps you coming back?
I keep coming back because I feel great and it clears the fog in the morning.
Why do you live in Oak Park?
I live in OP because it is AWESOME!
What do you do for a living?
I build custom cabinets and furniture for a living
How do you like to spend your free time?
In my free time I love being with my kids and wife, going to concerts, riding my dirt bike and drinking beer.
What do you like about Oak Park?
I love the people and community in Oak Park.
What are one or two improvements you have seen in your life since starting CrossFit?
I have noticed that my breathing is so much better along with my endurance.
What is the biggest change you have seen since starting CrossFit?
The biggest change I have seen in myself is that I have lost some of my beer belly :)
What are your goals for 2022?
My goal for 2022 is to KEEP COMING!
What is your favorite and least favorite CrossFit movement?
My least favorite movement is running
What is your favorite meal?
My favorite thing to eat is a good fish taco
What would you say to someone thinking about starting CrossFit?
If someone asked me about CrossFit, I would say "You're going to work hard, but enjoy every minute of it!"
